Pretoria Square

The Pretoria Junior Suite is a large room with a double bed and spacious shower. The neutral colours of the decor stand out thanks to the contrast of lamps and the black and white photographs of the Pretoria Fountain, which is only a three-minute walk from George I.

The Pretoria Fountain is commonly known as the 'Shame Fountain', both because of the nudity of the statues and because of the excessive amount of money that the Senate of Palermo had to pay for its purchase and installation, sums that the citizens described as 'shameful'.

We would like to remember that Antonio Veneziano renamed the statues, a true Palermitan transposition to exalt and celebrate, through myth, the fundamental element of the city and its related activities. The four basins thus take on the names of Palermo's rivers: Papireto, Maredolce, Oreto and Gabriele.
